Description
Fairy of the Tropics Original Painting
Fairy if the Tropics Original Painting is an oil painting featuring a beautiful fairy with a tropical backdrop. The reference photo supplied for the fairy came from the talented photographer, #faestock. ( Many Thanks!)
The artwork depicts a delicate fairy with translucent, iridescent wings sitting gracefully on a moss-covered tree branch. The fairy has long, flowing blonde hair and is dressed in a white, ruffled dress. She is barefoot, with one leg bent and the other dangling, giving her a relaxed yet poised demeanor. Surrounding her are large, vibrant green leaves that create a lush, jungle-like atmosphere. To the right of the fairy, a striking red and yellow heliconia flower adds a vivid splash of color, contrasting with the darker, shadowy background. The overall composition combines elements of fantasy and nature, creating an enchanting and mystical scene.
Martha Dodd painted the original while staying in Davos Switzerland. There is an accompanying painting available, “Butterfly Fairy of Bournemouth”, and can be purchased on this website.
