I created this video explaining why to tone a canvas, and how to tone a canvas. Although the products used in this example are oil based, the reasons why to tone a canvas remains the same for acrylics.

One of my followers bought a canvas print of the foxhunting painting, “Anticipation”. Jiselle Graves, of Edina, Minnesota, purchased a gallery wrapped canvas giclèe for her northern Minnesota cabin. Jiselle was kind enough to share some photos of my artwork hanging in her cabin. I love how the colors of the foxhunting scene coordinate with the colors of Jiselle’s beautiful wood paneling.
