January 2nd, 2015 Arts For Act Gallery Art Reception. Thanks to all who attended last Friday night, and to those who are following my work. It was great to see so many friends and to meet collectors and admirers I have never met before. The reception was held at the Arts For Act Gallery in downtown Fort Myers. Claudia Goode, the curator, did a wonderful job of hanging and presenting the work. One painting has sold, with some serious interest in others. My work will be there for the entire month of January. I hope that if you couldn’t make it to the reception, you will stop by when you can. Look for an article covering the event coming up in the Happenings Magazine. At this show I unveiled my newest mermaid painting entitled “Surprise Under The Dock”. It is 30″ x 40″, oil on canvas.
I am also offering a painting I completed in 1993, a racehorse themed 36 x48″ painting called “And They Are Off…” The collectors have sold their Florida residence, and asked me if I could help sell it. It is full of action and color. You don’t have to be horse enthusiast to appreciate this one. I think it would look wonderful in a billiard room.
I also made available giclees on canvas of my “Sweet Marilyn” painting. They are available at the gallery in a 17 x 28″ gallery wrap. The original has been sold.
